Marlin Williams
Marlin has 20+ years’ experience in Tech and DEI. She has served as the Global Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer for Two Fortune-500 organizations and a Unicorn Startup. Marlin was selected as the first Chief Program Officer for Tech Town. With the goal of increasing diversity in tech-based startups, Marlin founded Start Studio to assist aspiring startup founders with their tech-based business ideas. Marlin also served as Deputy CIO for the City of Detroit where she and her team successfully coordinated the technology behind Superbowl XL. Marlin founded two-tech companies, a DEI consulting firm, and Sisters Code with the goals of bridging the gender gap in tech.
David Webber
David has an extensive background in tech with a deep focus on software. Over the last 20-years, he has helped small businesses to Fortune 100 companies build and maintain critical software apps on various platforms. In 2008, he realized his dream of entrepreneurship and started a B2B consulting firm services small to medium-sized businesses in Web and iOS product development. In March 2015, David became the 4th employee at StockX.
Mack Hendricks
Mack obtained a Bachelor and Masters of Science in Computer Science from Oakland Univ. He has worked for large Silicon Valley-based companies for most of his 20-year career, including 5 years at Sun Microsystems and 10 years at Oracle Corporation. In parallel, Mack has built companies in the restaurant and technology sector. His current focus areas are Unified Communications, DevOps and distributed technologies such as Blockchain.

Ederique “Chef E” Goudia goes beyond crafting delicious and culturally significant dishes to champion community, health, and food system sustainability. Founder of In the Business of Food (IBF Detroit), Chef E leverages her two decades of experience to teach and empower under-resourced and minority-owned food businesses. Her impactful journey has garnered recognition from National Geographic, Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, Eater, and NPR. She has appeared on Fox 2 Detroit and her recipes have been published in the James Beard Foundation (JBF) Cookbook: A Plate At the Table, Hour Detroit, Seen Magazine, Taste the Local Difference, Eating Well, and Edible communities.
Elias Khalil
Elias is a native Detroiter passionate about economic empowerment and development. For more than thirty years he has worked as an educator and entrepreneur, helping others realize their agency in society. From teaching Economics and Foreign Languages at the high school level, to opening and operating the successful La Feria Spanish Tapas restaurant in Midtown Detroit, Elias is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with others through business training, mentoring, and entrepreneurial education.
Morgan Threatt
Morgan brings extensive expertise in small business ideation, development, and brand creative strategy. In December 2019, she founded her first venture, ‘BARE BASICS’, specializing in essential neutral clothing and loungewear. Recently, Morgan secured funding to facilitate the expansion of her business. In parallel, she established the BB Creative Studio, providing creative and strategic guidance to fellow entrepreneurs. Morgan has assisted numerous businesses to get started and business basics 101, marketing, content creation and social media strategy.
